Objective: Identify and address any environmental conditions that would impact funding
Result: The bank financed the purchase of the property and its subsequent construction
as a residential subdivision.
Project description: The 17+ acre site, historically used for a variety of commercial and industrial uses, was being constructed as a residential subdivision.
Summary of findings: The Phase I Environmental Site Assessment revealed an abandoned diesel fuel UST historically associated with a fuel oil transportation company. Followed-up on anecdotal evidence of UST with aggressive on-site inspection; located and supervised the removal of UST; ensured compliance with all MADEP; Fire Marshall and Town of Wareham rules and regulations.
